Contemporary Esthetics is the only publication that is focused solely on the latest products and procedures in esthetic and restorative dentistry with step-by-step clinical techniques articles, related features on practice management, and a comprehensive product listing for various materials needed to complete these procedures.

On December 20, 2007, AEGIS Communications, LLC, completed the acquisition of The Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, Contemporary Esthetics, Contemporary Dental Assisting, and additional titles and assets under the Dental Learning Systems group from Ascend Media.

In addition to the newly acquired titles, AEGIS publishes Inside Dentistry, Functional Esthetics & Restorative Dentistry, The Middle East Journal of Oral Health, Dentistry India, Advanced Esthetics & Interdisciplinary Dentistry and custom clinical and educational programs for the oral care markets.
